How exciting! Glass Pieces normally starts at around 9pm. I have no more than 1h20min to get warmed up, eat something (I hadn't had dinner yet!), put on make up + hair dress, revise, get changed, check the quick change in the wings, mark on stage.... etc. Very luckily, it was a spot that I knew quite well, but I never got a chance to rehearse.
at 8:40pm, I was in my costume, and had around 5 minutes to mark the steps on the stage before the intermission comes to an end.
at 8:50pm, I had around 10 minutes left, let's skip the barre work, and revise everything once again with my AirPods on.......
I am working on a new company, Feed.co, in my business course. Feed offers different meal substitues. Here I am not going to comment about the products, but since I received some, this Feed bottle really saved me that night! Otherwise I would have no time to dinner before my replacement...... from now on, I will always keep a Feed bottle in my locker at the Opera! |
I received positive feedbacks. Although it was a success, I got quite emotional after this. It is anyway another wonderful memory in the Paris Opera Ballet.
