As you could imagine, I have been quite busy, as usual. Now, I finally got some free time to sit in front of my computer for this post. I took my ballet class this morning and since we don't have any rehearsals in the afternoon, I could go back home before tonight's performance. One week ago, I went to see the Generale of Iphigenie en Tauride (Gluck) in Opera Garnier. It is an old French opera with a new modern staging. It's always refreshing to watch operas on the same stages where we dance, I think I prefer Italian operas though. We did the Premiere of Swan Lake yesterday night at Opera Bastille. It was the first of the 18 performances. It went smoothly for me. I danced in the corps de ballet as usual but this time I have my own spot so I don't have to stand by as an understudy nervously in the backstage anymore. Swan Lake! How many times I have watched this ballet in different versions performed by different companies live or in DVDs or on Youtube! I remember myself dreaming to dance in the corps de ballet of Swan Lake when I was little. Now I realize that, as a corps de ballet, there's more standing than dancing in Swan Lake. It is already easier for us male dancers who only dance in the first and third acts, the girls do all of the four acts. But how lucky am I to be able to watch every performance from the stage! Here are my costumes for the production: This weekend, my sister Yankiu and my cousin Marcus who are studying in Lyon came to Paris. We had a wonderful time chatting, eating, laughing and visiting Paris. Even though they're in Lyon, I don't see them very often. So we really had a great time together and I really hope to see them more! We went to a new Cantonese restaurant where they offer homemade Dim Sum. The chef is from Hong Kong and had worked in a 5-stars hotel before. The food was excellent and it is definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in Paris! This morning, after class, I tried my new costume for La Sylphide in Japan. Yes, I am participating in POB's Japan Tour to Tokyo in March. I am so excited! I am understudying different roles in three ballets including La Sylphide. These costumes are newly made for the tour, can you find mine? Last but not least, thank you all for continuing to leave warm comments here! I may not reply to every one of them, but I do read each comment and it always make me smile! Thank you!

Wake up :), Chun Wing! Your 3rd last post from this one now has a date in 2017. It stays on top and probably prevents other people from seeing the newer posts.

Yes, problem solved. I know it's because you are super busy: morning classes, afternoon rehearsals, and evening performances. BTW, I am tired of spelling "Invisible"... :)
