Thanks to the Ellison family, I and my sister have the chance to stay in their flat in Paris in June before my audition. It has been a long time since we last returned to Hong Kong. Missing Chinese food so much, we went to a Chinese buffet restaurant in the Chinatown of Paris. This restaurant is called Jardin d'Asie (Aisan Garden in French), and it offers a buffet with a large variety of asian food: sushi, different chinese dishes, rice, noodles, vietnamese nems and noodles......etc. We had a very good time there!
After the buffet, we had a nice walk in the chinatown and did our chinese grocery shopping. At night, I went to the Opera to see the new ballet of our new dance director, who is the husband of Natalie Portman - Benjamin Millepied. His new creation is called Daphnis et Chloe, and it was really a huge success. It found it very fresh and easy to watch. We could also feel is desire to introduce contemporary dance into the company. His work is certainly contemporary, but very artistic and easy to understand.
Although the chinese buffet was very good, we cannot go to restaurant everyday! Yankiu just made me some delicious and healthy lunchbox with sushi today! Yum!! Thank you my lovely sister!
